2013-01-15extcon: arizona: Enable basic headphone identificationMark Brown
Use the headphone detection to identify if the accessory is a headphone or line load. There are two different revisions of the IP with different register layouts, support both. 2013-01-15extcon: arizona: Support use of GPIO5 as an input to jack detectionMark Brown
Some system designs provide an input on GPIO5 which in conjunction with the jack detection feature indicates the presence of an accessory. Support such systems, using the microphone clamp feature to minimise wakeups of the processor. 2012-09-10extcon: arizona: Use bypass mode for MICVDDMark Brown
We can perform microphone detection with MICVDD in bypass mode so try to enable that during startup for minimal power - other users or machine constraints will prevent bypass mode being activated if it is unsuitable. 2012-07-17extcon: arizona: Update cable reporting calls and split headsetMark Brown

2012-06-26Extcon: Arizona: Add driver for Wolfson Arizona class devicesMark Brown
Most Wolfson Arizona class audio hub CODECs include a flexible ultra low power accessory detection subsystem. This driver exposes initial support for this subsystem via the Extcon framework, implementing support for ultra low power detection of headphone and headset with the ability to detect the polarity of a headset. The functionality of the devices is much richer and more flexible than the current driver, future patches will extend the features of the driver to more fully exploit this.
