git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-soc Pull ARM SoC driver specific changes from Arnd Bergmann: "These changes are all driver specific and cross over between arm-soc contents and some other subsystem, in these cases cpufreq, crypto, dma, pinctrl, mailbox and usb, and the subsystem owners agreed to have these changes merged through arm-soc. As we proceed to untangle the dependencies between platform code and driver code, the amount of changes in this category is fortunately shrinking, for 3.11 we have 16 branches here and 101 non-merge changesets, the majority of which are for the stedma40 dma engine driver used in the ux500 platform. Cleaning up that code touches multiple subsystems, but gets rid of the dependency in the end. The mailbox code moved out from mach-omap2 to drivers/mailbox is an intermediate step and is still omap specific at the moment. Patches exist to generalize the subsystem and add other drivers with the same API, but those did not make it for 3.11." * tag 'drivers-for-linus' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-soc: (101 commits) crypto: ux500: use dmaengine_submit API crypto: ux500: use dmaengine_prep_slave_sg API crypto: ux500: use dmaengine_device_control API crypto: ux500/crypt: add missing __iomem qualifiers crypto: ux500/hash: add missing static qualifiers crypto: ux500/hash: use readl on iomem addresses dmaengine: ste_dma40: Declare memcpy config as static ARM: ux500: Remove mop500_snowball_ethernet_clock_enable() ARM: ux500: Correct the EN_3v3 regulator's on/off GPIO ARM: ux500: Provide a AB8500 GPIO Device Tree node gpio: rcar: fix gpio_rcar_of_table gpio-rcar: Remove #ifdef CONFIG_OF around OF-specific sections gpio-rcar: Reference core gpio documentation in the DT bindings clk: exynos5250: Add enum entries for divider clock of i2s1 and i2s2 ARM: dts: Update Samsung I2S documentation ARM: dts: add clock provider information for i2s controllers in Exynos5250 ARM: dts: add Exynos audio subsystem clock controller node clk: samsung: register audio subsystem clocks using common clock framework ARM: dts: use #include for all device trees for Samsung pinctrl: s3c24xx: use correct header for chained_irq functions ...
2013-06-21ARM: ux500: Correct the EN_3v3 regulator's on/off GPIOLee Jones
When this node was added, the AB8500 GPIO driver was pretty broken. As a hack, we pretended that NOMADIK GPIO 26 was the correct on/off pin, as it was unused. It worked because AB8500 GPIO 26 was in an 'always on from boot' state. Now the AB8500 GPIO driver is working, the default state for all the pins is 'off'. Let's flip back over to use the correct GPIO which is _actually_ attached to the regulator. We're also taking the opportunity to straighten out some formatting misdemeanours, swapping spaces for tabs. 2013-05-27ARM: ux500: enable the crypto and hash on all dbx500Linus Walleij
Commits: "ARM: ux500: Add Device Tree nodes for the ux500 Crypt device" "ARM: ux500: Add Device Tree nodes for the ux500 Hash device" Added the crypto and hash devices conditionally, i.e. so as to be turned on per-board by setting an "status" property on the device from "disabled" to "okay" on each device. This is wrong since this is an SoC feature, it is not board dependent. It is the same ASIC under all circumstances and functionality does not vary with board family. This moves the enablement into the SoC file. Acked-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>

2013-05-27ARM: ux500: Fix intcore regulator nameFabio Baltieri
Ux500 regulator name for V-INTCORE is misspelled as vinitcore instead of vintcore in some .dts file, causing the AB8500 regulator driver to not bind properly. 2013-05-27ARM: ux500: Add a VQMMC (level-shifting) regulator DT node for SnowballLee Jones
Until recently platform code took care of all MMCI level-shifting by way of an ios_handler() call-back. Now it is the driver's responsibility to handle. In order to so that we need to provide the VQMMC regulator reference in Device Tree. This patch takes care of that. 2013-03-12mfd: ab8500: Kill "reg" property from bindingArnd Bergmann
The ab8500 device is a child of the prcmu device, which is a memory mapped bus device, whose children are addressable using physical memory addresses, not using mailboxes, so a mailbox number in the ab8500 node cannot be parsed by DT. Nothing uses this number, since it was only introduced as part of the failed attempt to clean up prcmu mailbox handling, and we can simply remove it. Pull ARM SoC device tree conversions and enablement from Olof Johansson: "Continued device tree conversion and enablement across a number of platforms; Kirkwood, tegra, i.MX, Exynos, zynq and a couple of other smaller series as well. ux500 has seen continued conversion for platforms. Several platforms have seen pinctrl-via-devicetree conversions for simpler multiplatform. Tegra is adding data for new devices/drivers, and Exynos has a bunch of new bindings and devices added as well. So, pretty much the same progression in the right direction as the last few releases." 2012-11-01ARM: ux500: List DT compatibility using platform names rather than by boardLee Jones
So far, each ST-Ericsson board supported by Device Tree has been similar enough to run though a single DT_MACHINE_INIT call. On the back of that it has been suggested that we should reduce the number of compatible strings in our dt_compat structure. After subsequent discussion with Arnd Bergmann the conclusion was to list entries by platform as opposed to by board. The other suggestion was to use a single string which would cover all supported platforms, but any wildcard entries would include unsupported chipsets, such as the u5500 and potential new chips which no not yet have DT functionality. Hence, the best solution which encompasses all supported platforms, but no unsupported ones was to list the currently enabled four chipsets; u8500, u8540, u9500 and u9540 instead. 2012-11-01ARM: ux500: Elaborate on SDI device node names in Device TreeLee Jones

2012-11-01ARM: ux500: Move regulator-name properties out to board DTS filesLee Jones

2012-04-25ARM: ux500: Enable the SMSC9115 on Snowball via Device TreeLee Jones
Here we split the description of the external-bus@50000000 over two description files. In the more generic db8500 description file we only specify the external-bus. This adds all devices that are normally present through the u8500_init_machine function in the device tree as well, which will duplicate the devices that are visible. This will not do much by itself because the device from the device tree are not matched by any device driver until they are converted as well.
