2011-06-06gpio/mxc: Change gpio-mxc into an upstanding gpio driverShawn Guo
The patch makes necessary changes on gpio-mxc as below to turn it into an upstanding gpio driver. * Add a list to save all mx2 ports references, so that mx2_gpio_irq_handler can walk through all interrupt status registers * Use readl/writel to replace mach-specific accessors __raw_readl/__raw_writel * Change mxc_gpio_init into mxc_gpio_probe function * Move "struct mxc_gpio_port" into gpio-mxc.c, as it needs not to be public at all, and also make some other cleanup on plat-mxc/include/mach/gpio.h at the same time And the patch then migrates mach-imx and mach-mx5 to the updated driver by adding corresponding platform devices. Most machine files include "devices-imxXX.h" which in turn includes <mach/devices-common.h>. The latter already includes many headers that the machine files don't need to include again. The boards are currently using otg_ulpi_create and mxc_ulpi_access_ops, both are only present if CONFIG_USB_ULPI is set. To remove the need of ifdefs in the board code introduce a imx_otg_ulpi_create functions which expands to a static inline function if compiled without ulpi. The mxc-ehci driver calls SoC specific phy initialization right after calling board specific initialization. To offer greater flexibility for boards to setup the phy and to get rid of some unnecessary flags in platform data this patch lets the boards call the SoC specific phy initialization and remove it from the driver. 2010-10-08cpuimx27: fix i2c bus selectionEric Bénard
Recent clean of i.MX devices registration changed the i2C bus number selected for our platform (Freescale start peripheral ID at 1, kernel now start it at 0 so i.MX27's i2c 1 is kernel's i2c 0). Without this fix, i2c is unusable on this platform.
