Drive the two Bluetooth UART output GPIOs (GPIO43_BTUART_TXD, GPIO45_BTUART_RTS) LOW during sleep mode instead of HIGH. This reduces sleep mode battery discharge from approximately 46 mA to approximately 30 mA. 2012-01-05ARM: restart: remove the now empty arch_reset()Russell King
Remove the now empty arch_reset() from all the mach/system.h includes, and remove its callsite. Remove arm_machine_restart() as this function no longer does anything useful. For samsung platforms, remove the include of mach/system-reset.h and plat/system-reset.h from their respective mach/system.h headers as these just define their arch_reset functions. As a result, the s3c2410 and plat-samsung system-reset.h files are no longer referenced, so remove these files entirely. 2011-11-15ARM: Make global handler and CONFIG_MULTI_IRQ_HANDLER mutually exclusiveMarc Zyngier
Even when CONFIG_MULTI_IRQ_HANDLER is selected, the core code requires the arch_irq_handler_default macro to be defined as a fallback. It turns out nobody is using that particular feature as both PXA and shmobile have all their machine descriptors populated with the interrupt handler, leaving unused code (or empty macros) in their entry-macro.S file just to be able to compile entry-armv.S. Make CONFIG_MULTI_IRQ_HANDLER exclusive wrt arch_irq_handler_default, which allows to remove one test from the hot path. Also cleanup both PXA and shmobile entry-macro.S. 2011-11-14ARM: pxa: use chained interrupt for GPIO0 and GPIO1Haojian Zhuang
GPIO0 and GPIO1 are linked to unique interrupt line in PXA series, others are linked to another interrupt line. All GPIO are linked to one interrupt line in MMP series. Since gpio driver is shared between PXA series and MMP series, define GPIO0 and GPIO1 as chained interrupt chip. So we can move out gpio code from irq.c to gpio-pxa.c. Convert PCIBIOS_MIN_IO and PCIBIOS_MIN_MEM to variables to allow multi-platform builds. This also removes the requirement for a platform to have a mach/hardware.h. The default values for i/o and mem are 0x1000 and 0x01000000, respectively. Per Arnd Bergmann, other values are likely to be incorrect, but this commit does not try to address that issue. 2011-07-02ARM: pm: allow suspend finisher to return error codesRussell King
There are SoCs where attempting to enter a low power state is ignored, and the CPU continues executing instructions with all state preserved. It is over-complex at that point to disable the MMU just to call the resume path. Instead, allow the suspend finisher to return error codes to abort suspend in this circumstance, where the cpu_suspend internals will then unwind the saved state on the stack.
