2008-06-17Input: i8042 - retry failed CTR writes when resumingJiri Kosina
There are systems that fail in i8042_resume() with i8042: Can't write CTR to resume as i8042_command(&i8042_ctr, I8042_CMD_CTL_WCTR) fails even though the controller claimed itself to be ready before. One retry after failing write fixes the problems on the failing systems. 2008-04-15Input: add PS/2 serio driver for AVR32 devicesHans-Christian Egtvedt
Add support for the PSIF peripheral on AVR32 AP7 devices. It is implemented as a serio driver and will behave like a serio 8042 device. The driver has been tested with a Dell keyboard capable of running on 3.3 volts and a Logitech mouse on the STK1000 + STK1002 starter kit. The Logitech mouse was hacked by cutting the cord and using a bi-directional voltage converter to get the required 5 volt I/O level. Introduce freezer-friendly wrappers around wait_event_interruptible() and wait_event_interruptible_timeout(), originally defined in <linux/wait.h>, to be used in freezable kernel threads. 2007-10-12Driver core: change add_uevent_var to use a structKay Sievers
This changes the uevent buffer functions to use a struct instead of a long list of parameters. It does no longer require the caller to do the proper buffer termination and size accounting, which is currently wrong in some places. It fixes a known bug where parts of the uevent environment are overwritten because of wrong index calculations. Many thanks to Mathieu Desnoyers for finding bugs and improving the error handling.
