2006-05-26ixgb: revert an unwanted fix regarding tso/descriptorsAuke Kok
There seemed to be another bug introduced as well as a performance hit with the addtion of the sentinel descriptor workaround. Removal of this workaround appears to prevent the hang. We'll take a risk and remove it, as we had never seen the originally reported bug under linux. 2006-05-26ixgb: fix smp polling race conditionAuke Kok
Moved interrupt masking to before requesting the interrupt from the OS. Moved interrupt enable to after netif_poll_enable. This fixes a racy BUG() where polling would be running on another CPU at the same time that netif_poll_enable would run. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
