2012-10-04team: set qdisc_tx_busylock to avoid LOCKDEP splatEric Dumazet
If a qdisc is installed on a team device, its possible to get a lockdep splat under stress, because nested dev_queue_xmit() can lock busylock a second time (on a different device, so its a false positive) Avoid this problem using a distinct lock_class_key for team devices. Conflicts: drivers/net/team/team.c drivers/net/usb/qmi_wwan.c net/batman-adv/bat_iv_ogm.c net/ipv4/fib_frontend.c net/ipv4/route.c net/l2tp/l2tp_netlink.c The team, fib_frontend, route, and l2tp_netlink conflicts were simply overlapping changes. qmi_wwan and bat_iv_ogm were of the "use HEAD" variety. 2012-09-27team: fix return value checkWei Yongjun
In case of error, the function genlmsg_put() returns NULL pointer not ERR_PTR(). The IS_ERR() test in the return value check should be replaced with NULL test. dpatch engine is used to auto generate this patch. 2012-09-22team: send port changed when addedJiri Pirko
On some hw, link is not up during adding iface to team. That causes event not being sent to userspace and that may cause confusion. Fix this bug by sending port changed event once it's added to team. Signed-off-by: Jiri Pirko <jiri@resnulli.us> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>

2012-09-10netlink: Rename pid to portid to avoid confusionEric W. Biederman
It is a frequent mistake to confuse the netlink port identifier with a process identifier. Try to reduce this confusion by renaming fields that hold port identifiers portid instead of pid. I have carefully avoided changing the structures exported to userspace to avoid changing the userspace API. I have successfully built an allyesconfig kernel with this change. Signed-off-by: "Eric W. 2012-08-24team: don't print warn message on -ESRCH during event sendJiri Pirko

2012-08-20team: add support for non-ethernet devicesJiri Pirko

2012-08-14netpoll: use GFP_ATOMIC in slave_enable_netpoll() and __netpoll_setup()Amerigo Wang
slave_enable_netpoll() and __netpoll_setup() may be called with read_lock() held, so should use GFP_ATOMIC to allocate memory. Eric suggested to pass gfp flags to __netpoll_setup(). Cloned patch of Eric Dumazet for bonding. Some workloads greatly benefit of IFF_XMIT_DST_RELEASE capability on output net device, avoiding dirtying dst refcount. team currently disables IFF_XMIT_DST_RELEASE unconditionally. 2012-06-29net: Use NLMSG_DEFAULT_SIZE in combination with nlmsg_new()Thomas Graf
Using NLMSG_GOODSIZE results in multiple pages being used as nlmsg_new() will automatically add the size of the netlink header to the payload thus exceeding the page limit. NLMSG_DEFAULT_SIZE takes this into account. 2012-06-19team: ensure correct order of netlink messages deliveryJiri Pirko

2012-04-21team: allow to enable/disable portsJiri Pirko
This patch changes content of hashlist (used to get port struct by computed index (0...en_port_count-1)). Now the hash list contains only enabled ports so userspace will be able to say what ports can be used for tx/rx. This becomes handy when userspace will need to disable ports which does not belong to active aggregator. By default, newly added port is enabled.
