2005-06-03[PATCH] USB: add Option Card driverMatthias Urlichs
This patch adds a new driver for "Option" cards. This is a GSM data card, controlled by three "serial ports" which are connected via an OHCI adapter, all located on an oversized PC-Card. It's sold by several GSM service providers. Traditionally, this card has been accessed via the standard serial driver and appropriate vendor= and product= options. However, testing has revealed several problems with this approach, including hung data transfers and lost data blocks when receiving. Therefore, I've written a separate driver. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
