2017-07-31env: Migrate CONFIG_ENV_IS_IN_FAT options to KconfigTom Rini
We rename the various FAT_ENV_xxx options to CONFIG_ENV_FAT_xxx so that they can be modified via Kconfig. Migrate all existing users to the new values. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>

2016-08-07usb: add (move) CONFIG_USB_HOST to KconfigMasahiro Yamada
The meaning of CONFIG_USB in U-Boot is different from that in Linux. As you see in drivers/usb/Kconfig of Linux, CONFIG_USB enables the USB host controller support, while CONFIG_USB_SUPPORT is used to enable the whole of the USB sub-system. When I added CONFIG_USB into Kconfig by commit 6e7e9294d321 ("usb: add basic USB configs in Kconfig"), I planned to follow the Linux's convention, i.e. CONFIG_USB to enable/disable the USB host support. Then, commit 68f7c5db2d1e ("usb: Generic USB Kconfig option, that fits both host and gadget and comments") changed the logic of the CONFIG_USB to point to the whole of the USB sub-system. As a result, currently we do not have an option for USB host. This commit adds CONFIG_USB_HOST, which will be useful to compile in the USB host support code. CONFIG_USB_HOST is not referenced at all, but strangely some boards define it in board headers. I removed them because USB_HOST will be selected in Kconfig going forward. 2011-08-03omap4: automatic sdram detectionAneesh V
Identify SDRAM devices connected to EMIF automatically: LPDDR2 devices have some Mode Registers that provide details about the device such as the type, density, bus width etc. EMIF has the capability to read these registers. If there are no devices connected to a given chip-select reading mode registers will return junk values. After reading as many such registers as possible and matching with expected ranges of values the driver can identify if there is a device connected to the respective CS. If we identify that a device is connected the values read give us complete details about the device. This along with the base AC timings specified by JESD209-2 allows us to do a complete automatic initialization of SDRAM that works on all boards. Please note that the default AC timings specified by JESD209-2 will be safe for all devices but not necessarily optimal. However, for the Elpida devices used on Panda and SDP the default timings are both safe and optimal. Signed-off-by: Aneesh V <aneesh@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Sandeep Paulraj <s-paulraj@ti.com>
2011-08-03omap4: calculate EMIF register valuesAneesh V
Calculate EMIF register values based on AC timing parameters from the SDRAM datasheet and the DDR frequency rather than using the hard-coded values. For a new board the user doen't have to go through the tedious process of calculating the register values. Instead, just provide the AC timings from the device data sheet as input and the driver will automatically calculate the register values. 2010-10-26Replace CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE by auto-generated valueWolfgang Denk
CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE has always been just a bad workarond for not being able to use "sizeof(struct global_data)" in assembler files. Recent experience has shown that manual synchronization is not reliable enough. This patch renames CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE into GENERATED_GBL_DATA_SIZE which gets automatically generated by the asm-offsets tool. In the result, all definitions of this value can be deleted from the board config files. We have to make sure that all files that reference such data include the new <asm-offsets.h> file. No other changes have been done yet, but it is obvious that similar changes / simplifications can be done for other, related macro definitions as well.
