2015-04-18dm: usb: Tidy up pipe value decodingSimon Glass
Add a few more shifts/masks to make it easier to decode a pipe value (rather than just building it). We need this for USB device emulation. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Marek Vasut <marex@denx.de>
2015-04-18dm: usb: sandbox: Add an emulator for USB hub emulationSimon Glass
All USB controllers need a root hub. Add a sandbox emulation for this so that we can add USB devices to sandbox. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Marek Vasut <marex@denx.de>
2015-04-18dm: usb: Move USB storage definitions to usb_defs.hSimon Glass
These are better off in a header file so they can be used by other code (e.g. the sandbox USB storage emulator). Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Marek Vasut <marex@denx.de>
2013-10-20usb: Move 'bmRequestType' USB device request macros from EHCI headerVivek Gautam
Macros defining bmRequestType field of USB device request, given in table 9.2 USB 2.0 spec, are rather generic macros which can be further used by other Host controller stacks. So moving them to usb_defs header. Some cleanup in usb framework, nothing much on feature side. Signed-off-by: Vikas C Sajjan <vikas.sajjan@samsung.com> Signed-off-by: Vivek Gautam <gautam.vivek@samsung.com>
2013-05-05usb: Add new command to set USB 2.0 port test modesJulius Werner
This patch adds a new 'usb test' command, that will set a port to a USB 2.0 test mode (see USB 2.0 spec 7.1.20). It supports all five test modes on both downstream hub ports and ordinary device's upstream ports. In addition, it supports EHCI root hub ports. Signed-off-by: Julius Werner <jwerner@chromium.org>
2012-11-19usb: use linux/usb/ch9.h instead of usbdescriptors.hIlya Yanok
Linux usb/ch9.h seems to have all the same information (and more) as usbdescriptors.h so use the former instead of the later one. As a consequense of this change USB_SPEED_* values don't correspond directly to EHCI speed encoding anymore, I've added necessary recoding in EHCI driver. Also there is no point to put speed into pipe anymore so it's removed and a bunch of host drivers fixed to look at usb_device->speed instead. Old usbdescriptors.h included is not removed as it seems to be used by old USB device code. This makes usb.h and usbdevice.h incompatible. Fortunately the only place that tries to include both are the old MUSB code and it needs usb.h only for USB_DMA_MINALIGN used in aligned attribute on musb_regs structure but this attribute seems to be unneeded (old MUSB code doesn't support any DMA at all). A new, Windows compatible init sequence was also backported from Linux 2.6, but disabled with #undef NEW_INIT_SEQ as it wouldn't change the behaviour of the memopry sticks we tested. Maybe it's not relevant for mass storage devices. For recerence, see file common/usb.c, function usb_new_device(), section #ifdef NEW_INIT_SEQ.
