2012-10-15ARM: imx: merge plat-mxc into mach-imxShawn Guo
It's really unnecessary to have plat-mxc, and let's merge it into mach-imx. It's pretty much just a bunch of file renaming and Kconfig/Makefile merge. To make the change less invasive, we keep using Kconfig symbol CONFIG_ARCH_MXC for mach-imx sub-architecture. 2012-05-16ARM i.MX: remove now unnecessary argument from mxc_timer_initSascha Hauer
As the timer code now does a clk_get to get its clock we don't need the struct clk argument anymore. This also changes the alternative EPIT timer to do a clk_get. Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de>
2012-02-01ARM: mxc: epit: add clk_prepare/clk_unprepareRichard Zhao
It's for migrating to generic clk framework API. Signed-off-by: Richard Zhao <richard.zhao@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de>
2011-05-23clocksource: convert ARM 32-bit down counting clocksourcesRussell King
Convert SP804, MXC, Nomadik and Orion 32-bit down-counting clocksources to generic mmio clocksource infrastructure. 2010-12-22ARM: mxc: update clock source registrationRussell King
In d7e81c2 (clocksource: Add clocksource_register_hz/khz interface) new interfaces were added which simplify (and optimize) the selection of the divisor shift/mult constants. Switch over to using this new interface. Acked-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2010-09-27ARM: imx: Add EPIT supportSascha Hauer
The Enhanced Periodic Interrupt Timer (EPIT) is found on newer i.MX SoCs and can be used as an alternative system timer. Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Michael Grzeschik <m.grzeschik@pengutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Uwe Kleine-König <u.kleine-koenig@pengutronix.de>
