2012-05-19sh: Kill off MAX_DMA_ADDRESS leftovers.Paul Mundt
We don't support the ISA DMA API, so this is only ever misused. The dma-sh case inadvertently broke the dreamcast case by testing the wrong variable for the total number of channels, so this fixes that up too. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>

2009-09-09dmaengine: sh: Add Support SuperH DMA Engine driverNobuhiro Iwamatsu
This supported all DMA channels, and it was tested in SH7722, SH7780, SH7785 and SH7763. This can not use with SH DMA API. 2009-08-19sh: Add SH7724 support to NR_ONCHIP_DMA_CHANNELSKuninori Morimoto

2009-05-11sh: multiple vectors per irq - sh7760Magnus Damm
Update intc tables and platform data to use one linux irq per maskable interrupt source instead of keeping the one-to-one mapping between vectors and linux irqs. This fixes potential irq masking issues for sh7760 hardware blocks such as DMAC/TMU2/REF. Signed-off-by: Magnus Damm <damm@igel.co.jp> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
2009-04-04sh: Fix up number of on-chip DMA channels on SH7091.Paul Mundt
This accidentally regressed when the multi-IRQ changes went in, switching SH7091 from 4 to 6 channels. Add SH7091 back in to the 4-channel dependency list. Reported-by: Adrian McMenamin <adrian@mcmen.demon.co.uk> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
2009-03-17sh: dma: Make G2 DMA configurable.Paul Mundt
Follow the PVR2 DMAC change for G2 DMA. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
2009-03-17sh: dma: Make PVR2 DMA configurable.Paul Mundt
With arch/sh/drivers/dma/ always being built, the Dreamcast DMA engines are being unconditionally built in, regardless of whether the DMA API is enabled or not. This is a regression from previous behaviour, but there is not much advantage in building them all in unconditionally regardless. Add a new config option to make it optional, and update the only user of it to reflect that. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
2009-03-16sh: Move IRQ multi definition of DMAC to defconfigNobuhiro Iwamatsu
When SuperH CPU has IRQ multi of DMAC, SH_DMA_IRQ_MULTI becomes enable. The following CPU's are Multi IRQ of DMAC now. - SH775X and SH7091 - SH776X - SH7780 - SH7785 If SH_DMA_IRQ_MULTI becomes enable, dma-sh api driver is optimized for Multi IRQ. 2009-03-10sh: dma-sh updates for multi IRQ and new SH-4A CPUs.Nobuhiro Iwamatsu
This adds DMA support for newer SH-4A CPUs, particularly SH7763/64/80/85. This also enables multi IRQ support for platforms that have multiple vectors bound to the same IRQ source. 2007-07-20sh: Make on-chip DMA channel selection explicit.Paul Mundt
Currently this has a prompt to allow users to change it. There's no reason to do this, and it has caused breakage and confusion in the past, so remove it entirely. We'll get rid of this when the whole driver is tidied for the driver model. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
2007-07-20sh: Fix up CPU dependencies for on-chip DMAC.Paul Mundt
We only handle SH-3 and SH-4 at present, don't expose it to the other CPUs. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
2007-06-11sh: Kill off broken dma page ops.Paul Mundt
There's no point in keeping these around, they've been broken for some time, and the dmaenging/async_tx framework provides a far more reasonable interface. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
2007-05-09sh: SH7760 DMABRG support.Manuel Lauss
The DMABRG is a special DMA unit within the SH7760 which does data transfers from main memory to Audio units and USB shared memory. It has 3 IRQ lines which generate 10 events, which have to be masked unmasked and acked in a single 32bit register. It works independently from the tradition SH DMAC, but blocks usage of DMAC channel 0. This patch adds 2 functions to associate callbacks with DMABRG events and initialization. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
