2016-10-19mm: replace get_user_pages() write/force parameters with gup_flagsLorenzo Stoakes
This removes the 'write' and 'force' from get_user_pages() and replaces them with 'gup_flags' to make the use of FOLL_FORCE explicit in callers as use of this flag can result in surprising behaviour (and hence bugs) within the mm subsystem. 2016-02-16mm/gup: Switch all callers of get_user_pages() to not pass tsk/mmDave Hansen
We will soon modify the vanilla get_user_pages() so it can no longer be used on mm/tasks other than 'current/current->mm', which is by far the most common way it is called. For now, we allow the old-style calls, but warn when they are used. (implemented in previous patch) This patch switches all callers of: get_user_pages() get_user_pages_unlocked() get_user_pages_locked() to stop passing tsk/mm so they will no longer see the warnings. 2015-10-06usnic: add missing clauses to BSD licenseJeff Squyres
The usnic_verbs kernel module was clearly marked with the following in its code: MODULE_LICENSE("Dual BSD/GPL"); However, we accidentally left a few clauses of the BSD text out of the license header in all the source files. This commit fixes that: all the files are properly dual BSD/GPL-licensed. Contributors that might have been confused by this have been contacted to get their permission and are Cc:ed here. 2015-06-11IB/usnic: clean up some error handling codeDan Carpenter
This code causes a static checker warning: drivers/infiniband/hw/usnic/usnic_uiom.c:476 usnic_uiom_alloc_pd() warn: passing zero to 'PTR_ERR' This code isn't buggy, but iommu_domain_alloc() doesn't return an error pointer so we can simplify the error handling and silence the static checker warning.
