2016-03-01[media] gspca: Remove unused ovfx2_vga_mode/ovfx2_cif_mode arraysHans de Goede
Remove the unused ovfx2_vga_mode/ovfx2_cif_mode arrays from the ov519 driver. Signed-off-by: Hans de Goede <hdegoede@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@osg.samsung.com>
2016-03-01[media] gspca: Fix ov519 i2c r/w not working when connected to a xhci hostWesley Post
Fix the ov519 driver not working (unable to talk to the sensor) when plugged into a xhci host. The root cause here is that uhci/ohci/ehci hosts typically will send any pending async requests every milli-second and then go to sleep for the rest if the milli-second, where as xhci hosts send them immediately, causing things to go too fast for the ov519 bridge. This commit adds a few delays fixing this. Signed-off-by: Wesley Post <pa4wdh@xs4all.nl> [hdegoede@redhat.com: Also add delays to w996Xcf.c, as that needs them too] Signed-off-by: Hans de Goede <hdegoede@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@osg.samsung.com>
2013-09-26[media] gspca: store current mode instead of individual parametersOndrej Zary
Store complete current mode (struct v4l2_pix_format) in struct gspca_dev instead of separate pixfmt, width and height parameters. This is a preparation for variable resolution support. 2013-08-24[media] gspca_ov519: Fix support for the Terratec Terracam USB ProHans de Goede
This is a camera with an ov518+ revision 0 bridge + ov7620ae sensor, which appearently needs different handling then the Trust spacecam 320, which has an ov518+ revision 2 + ov7620ae sensor. The Terracam USB Pro used to write this patch has kindly been provided by Dr. Tilmann Bubeck <t.bubeck@reinform.de>. 2013-03-05[media] gspca: Remove gspca-specific debug magicTheodore Kilgore
Instead use v4l2_dbg and v4l2_err. Note that the PDEBUG macro is kept to make this patch-set less invasive, but it is simply a wrapper around v4l2_dbg now. Most of the other changes are there to make the dev parameter for the v4l2_xxx macros available everywhere we do logging. 2012-09-26[media] v4l2: make vidioc_s_jpegcomp constHans Verkuil
Write-only ioctls should have a const argument in the ioctl op. Do this conversion for vidioc_s_jpegcomp. Adding const for write-only ioctls was decided during the 2012 Media Workshop. Signed-off-by: Hans Verkuil <hans.verkuil@cisco.com> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@redhat.com>
2012-09-13[media] gspca: dubious one-bit signed bitfieldEmil Goode
This patch changes some signed integers to unsigned because they are not intended for negative values and sparse is making noise about it. Sparse gives eight of these errors: drivers/media/usb/gspca/ov519.c:144:29: error: dubious one-bit signed bitfield Signed-off-by: Emil Goode <emilgoode@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Hans de Goede <hdegoede@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@redhat.com>
