FSF mailing address is no longer required to be specified. Hence removed. Detected using checkpatch Signed-off-by: Shraddha Barke <shraddha.6596@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
2016-01-29STAGING/SPEAKUP: Fix "expression using sizeof bool" warningsJeff Becker
Fix "warning: expression using sizeof bool" messages caught by sparse. Resending directly to SPEAKUP maintainers. Signed-off-by: Jeff Becker <Jeffrey.C.Becker@nasa.gov> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
2015-10-04staging: speakup: fix speakup-r regressioncovici@ccs.covici.com
Here is a patch to make speakup-r work again. It broke in 3.6 due to commit 4369c64c79a22b98d3b7eff9d089196cd878a10a "Input: Send events one packet at a time) The problem was that the fakekey.c routine to fake a down arrow no longer functioned properly and putting the input_sync fixed it. 2013-01-07staging: speakup: Turn some symbols staticSamuel Thibault
Turn static some symbols which do not actually need to be externally-visible Signed-off-by: Samuel Thibault <samuel.thibault@ens-lyon.org> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
2010-12-17fakekey: Simplify speakup_fake_key_pressed through this_cpu_opsChristoph Lameter
The whole function can be expressed as a simple this_cpu_read() operation. The function overhead is now likely multiple times that of the single instruction that is executed in it. 2010-12-17drivers: Replace __get_cpu_var with __this_cpu_read if not used for an address.Christoph Lameter
__get_cpu_var() can be replaced with this_cpu_read and will then use a single read instruction with implied address calculation to access the correct per cpu instance. However, the address of a per cpu variable passed to __this_cpu_read() cannot be determed (since its an implied address conversion through segment prefixes). Therefore apply this only to uses of __get_cpu_var where the addres of the variable is not used. V3->V4: - Move one instance of this_cpu_inc_return to a later patch so that this one can go in without percpu infrastructrure changes. Sedat: fixed compile failure caused by an extra ')'. 2010-11-16Staging: speakup: free after input_unregister_device()Dan Carpenter
input_unregister_device() frees the device so the call to input_free_device() is a double free. Signed-off-by: Dan Carpenter <error27@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@suse.de>
2010-10-08Staging: add speakup to the staging directoryWilliam Hubbs
Speakup is a kernel based screen review package for the linux operating system. It allows blind users to interact with applications on the linux console by means of synthetic speech. The authors and maintainers of this code include the following: Kirk Reiser, Andy Berdan, John Covici, Brian and David Borowski, Christopher Brannon, Samuel Thibault and William Hubbs.
