2013-09-21llc*.h: Remove extern from function prototypesJoe Perches
There are a mix of function prototypes with and without extern in the kernel sources. Standardize on not using extern for function prototypes. Function prototypes don't need to be written with extern. extern is assumed by the compiler. Its use is as unnecessary as using auto to declare automatic/local variables in a block. 2013-09-04llc: Use normal etherdevice.h testsJoe Perches
Convert the llc_<foo> static inlines to the equivalents from etherdevice.h and remove the llc_<foo> static inline functions. llc_mac_null -> is_zero_ether_addr llc_mac_multicast -> is_multicast_ether_addr llc_mac_match -> ether_addr_equal Signed-off-by: Joe Perches <joe@perches.com> Signed-off-by: David S. 2006-06-18[LLC]: add multicast support for datagramsStephen Hemminger
Allow mulitcast reception of datagrams (similar to UDP). All sockets bound to the same SAP receive a clone. Signed-off-by: Stephen Hemminger <shemminger@osdl.org> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2006-06-18[LLC]: use more efficient ether address routinesStephen Hemminger

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
