2017-05-22Kconfig: Add a CONFIG_IDE optionSimon Glass
At present IDE support is controlled by CONFIG_CMD_IDE. Add a separate CONFIG_IDE option so that IDE support can be enabled without requiring the 'ide' command. 2014-11-21fdt: Allow ft_board_setup() to report failureSimon Glass
This function can fail if the device tree runs out of space. Rather than silently booting with an incomplete device tree, allow the failure to be detected. Unfortunately this involves changing a lot of places in the code. I have not changed behvaiour to return an error where one is not currently returned, to avoid unexpected breakage. Eventually it would be nice to allow boards to register functions to be called to update the device tree. This would avoid all the many functions to do this. However it's not clear yet if this should be done using driver model or with a linker list. This work is left for later. 2009-10-07tqm5200: Correct comment and code in post_hotkeys_pressed.Detlev Zundel
This fixes the code and the comment according to the original intent of doing an intensive memory test when PSC6_3 is pulled low on the STK52xx. Notably PORT_CONFIG will be overridden with this correct code now, so beware. The original code only worked by coincidence depending on the PORT_CONFIG setting from the header file. The new code was tested to ensure that the (undocumented) memory test still works on the STK52x. 2008-06-12Change initdram() return type to phys_size_tBecky Bruce
This patch changes the return type of initdram() from long int to phys_size_t. This is required for a couple of reasons: long int limits the amount of dram to 2GB, and u-boot in general is moving over to phys_size_t to represent the size of physical memory. phys_size_t is defined as an unsigned long on almost all current platforms. This patch *only* changes the return type of the initdram function (in include/common.h, as well as in each board's implementation of initdram). It does not actually modify the code inside the function on any of the platforms; platforms which wish to support more than 2GB of DRAM will need to modify their initdram() function code.
