2013-03-01hash: Add a flag to support saving hashes in the environmentSimon Glass
Some hashing commands permit saving the hash in an environment variable, and verifying a hash from there. But the crc32 command does not support this. In order to permit crc32 to use the generic hashing infrastructure, add a flag to select which behaviour to use. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2012-12-11sha1sum: Use generic hash layerSimon Glass
Update the code to use the hash layer instead of local code. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2012-10-03Add parameter to sha1sum to save the SHA1 sumJoe Hershberger
Add a parameter that allows you to store the SHA1 sum to either a memory location or a variable. Signed-off-by: Joe Hershberger <joe.hershberger@ni.com>
2012-10-03Implement verify option for sha1sum commandJoe Hershberger
Loosely based on CONFIG_CRC32_VERIFY. The sum to verify against can be in memory, in a variable, or the last parameter to the function directly. Signed-off-by: Joe Hershberger <joe.hershberger@ni.com>
2012-03-06Convert cmd_usage() calls in common to use a return valueSimon Glass
Change all files in common/ to use CMD_RET_USAGE instead of calling cmd_usage() directly. I'm not completely sure about this patch since the code since impact is small (100 byte or so on ARM) and it might need splitting into smaller patches. But for now here it is. 2011-07-26Fix: watchdog timed out, if using sha1 commandJens Scharsig
* Fix: if using sha1 command watchdog timed out * change function call sha1_csum(..) to the watchdog-safe variant sha1_csum_wd(..) to support watchdog reset Signed-off-by: Jens Scharsig <esw@bus-elektronik.de>
2011-04-13md5sum/sha1sum/unzip: split out of mondo mem fileMike Frysinger
There's no real need to keep these functions in the cmd_mem file since they do not use any of the common global mem variables. So split them out into their own dedicated cmd files. Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>
