2016-09-26kconfig: introduce kconfig for UBIHeiko Schocher
move the UBI config options into Kconfig. Signed-off-by: Heiko Schocher <hs@denx.de> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Andrew F. Davis <afd@ti.com> Reviewed by: Evgeni Dobrev <evgeni at studio-punkt.com>
2016-05-20drivers: mtd: add Microchip PIC32 internal non-CFI flash driver.Purna Chandra Mandal
PIC32 internal flash devices are parallel NOR flash divided into number of banks to allow erase-programming in one while fetch and execution continues on other. As the flash banks are memory mapped stored code can be executed directly from flash (XIP), also there is additional hardware logic to prefetch and cache contents to improve execution performance. These flash can also be used to store user data (like environment). Flash erase and programming are handled by on-chip NVM controller. Driver implemented driver model but MTD is not really support. 2015-11-12mtd: add altera quadspi driverThomas Chou
Add Altera Generic Quad SPI Controller support. The controller converts SPI NOR flash to parallel flash interface. So it is not like other SPI flash, but rather like CFI flash. Signed-off-by: Thomas Chou <thomas@wytron.com.tw>

2015-11-12dm: implement a MTD uclassThomas Chou
Implement a Memory Technology Device (MTD) uclass. It should include most flash drivers in the future. Though no uclass ops are defined yet, the MTD ops could be used. The NAND flash driver is based on MTD. The CFI flash and SPI flash support MTD, too. It should make sense to convert them to MTD uclass. Signed-off-by: Thomas Chou <thomas@wytron.com.tw>

Expand the help messages for each driver. Add missing Kconfig for I2C, SPI flash and thermal. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Masahiro Yamada <yamada.m@jp.panasonic.com>
2014-10-05mtd: denali: add Denali controller configs to KconfigMasahiro Yamada
Commit 3eb3e72a3f66 (nand/denali: Adding Denali NAND driver support) introduced some new options, and some of them were documented by commit f9860cf081ef (nand/denali: Document CONFIG symbols). This commit allows users to enable/disable them via Kconfig with more detailed help docs.
