2015-04-18net: cosmetic: Fix var naming net <-> eth driversJoe Hershberger
Update the naming convention used in the network stack functions and variables that Ethernet drivers use to interact with it. This cleans up the temporary hacks that were added to this interface along with the DM support. This patch has a few remaining checkpatch.pl failures that would be out of the scope of this patch to fix (drivers that are in gross violation of checkpatch.pl). 2013-04-01Consolidate bool typeYork Sun
'bool' is defined in random places. This patch consolidates them into a single header file include/linux/types.h, using stdbool.h introduced in C99. All other #define, typedef and enum are removed. They are all consistent with true = 1, false = 0. Replace FALSE, False with false. Replace TRUE, True with true. Skip *.py, *.php, lib/* files. Signed-off-by: York Sun <yorksun@freescale.com>

2012-03-18net/miiphy/serial: drop duplicate "NAMESIZE" defineMike Frysinger
A few subsystems are using the same define "NAMESIZE". This has been working so far because they define it to the same number. However, I want to change the size of eth_device's NAMESIZE, so rather than tweak the define names, simply drop references to it. Almost no one does, and the handful that do can easily be changed to a sizeof(). Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>
