2014-10-08exynos: Rename -dt config files to -commonSimon Glass
We want exynos5250-dt.h to be a board which can support any exynos5250 device. This matches the naming used by Linux. As a first step, rename the existing -dt files to -common to make it clear they are common files, and not specific boards. 2014-10-08dm: exynos: Split out the cros_ec driversSimon Glass
With the driver model conversion we are going to be using driver model for SPI and not for I2C. This works OK so long as a board doesn't need both dm and non-dm versions of the cros_ec driver. Since pit uses SPI and snow uses I2C we need to split the configs so that only one driver is compiled for each platform. We can fix this later when driver model supports I2C. 2014-10-08cros_ec: exynos: Use the correct tps65090 driver in each caseSimon Glass
Exynos 5250 boards (snow, spring) use the I2C driver but Exynos 5420 boards cannot due to a hardware design decision. Select the correct driver to use in each case. 2014-09-05exynos_fb: Remove usage of static definesAjay Kumar
Previously, we used to statically assign values for vl_col, vl_row and vl_bpix using #defines like LCD_XRES, LCD_YRES and LCD_COLOR16. Introducing the function exynos_lcd_early_init() would take care of this assignment on the fly by parsing FIMD DT properties, thereby allowing us to remove LCD_XRES and LCD_YRES from the main config file. 2014-06-22Exynos: Split 5250 and 5420 memory bank configurationMichael Pratt
Since snow has a different memory configuration than peach, split the configuration between the 5250 and 5420. Exynos 5420 supports runtime memory configuration detection, and can make the determination between 4 and 7 banks at runtime. Include the bank size with the number of banks for context to make the number of banks meaningful. 2014-06-22Exynos5: Config: Increase SPL footprint for Exynos5420Akshay Saraswat
Max footprint for SPL in both Exynos 5250 and 5420 is limited to 14 KB. For Exynos5250 we need to keep it 14 KB because BL1 supports only fixed size SPL downloading. But in case of Exynos5420 we need not restrict it to 14 KB. And also, the SPL size for Exynos5420 is expected to increase with the upcoming patches and the patches under review right now. 2014-03-18sound: Move Samsung-specific code into its own fileSimon Glass
The i2s code is in fact Samsung-specific, but there might be other implementation. Move this code into its own file. This makes it slightly more obviously how to adjust the code to support another SoC, when someone takes this task on. Also drop non-FDT support, since it isn't used on Exynos 5. 2013-07-05EXYNOS: Move files from board/samsung to arch/armRajeshwari Shinde
This patch performs the following: 1) Convert the assembly code for memory and clock initialization to C code. 2) Move the memory and clock init codes from board/samsung to arch/arm 3) Creat a common lowlevel_init file across Exynos4 and Exynos5. Converted the common lowlevel_init from assembly to C-code 4) Made spl_boot.c and tzpc_init.c common for both exynos4 and exynos5. 5) Enable CONFIG_SKIP_LOWLEVEL_INIT as stack pointer initialisation is already done in _main. 6) exynos-uboot-spl.lds made common across SMDKV310, Origen and SMDK5250. 2013-06-13SMDK5250: Initialise and Enable DWMMC, support FDT and non-FDTAmar
This patch enables and initialises DWMMC for SMDK5250. Supports both FDT and non-FDT. This patch creates a new file 'exynos5-dt.c' meant for FDT support. exynos5-dt.c: This file shall contain all code which supports FDT. Any addition of FDT support for any module needs to be added in this file. smdk5250.c: This file shall contain the code which supports non-FDT. version. Any addition of non-FDT support for any module needs to be added in this file. May be, the file smdk5250.c can be removed in near future when non-FDT is not required. The Makefile is updated to compile only one of the files exynos5-dt.c / smdk5250.c based on FDT configuration. NOTE: Please note that all additions corresponding to FDT need to be added into the file exynos5-dt.c. 2013-06-03tpm: Reorganize the I2C TPM driverTom Wai-Hong Tam
This patch does a similar code reogranzation from http://patchwork.ozlabs.org/patch/132179/ which is based on an old version of code (fdt support and bus selection still not in). It merges this tidy-up on top of the recent code. It does not make any logical change. tpm.c implements the interface defined in tpm.h based on underlying LPC or I2C TPM driver. tpm.c and the underlying driver communicate throught tpm_private.h. Note: Merging the LPC driver with tpm.c is left to future patches.
