2008-11-30Bluetooth: Remove deprecated hci_usb driverMarcel Holtmann
The old hci_usb driver has been fully replaced with the new btusb driver and all major distributions switched to the new driver now. This removes it since it should not be used at all anymore. Signed-off-by: Marcel Holtmann <marcel@holtmann.org>
2008-09-23hci_usb: replace mb with smp_mbMing Lei
smp_mb is enough for ordering memory operations among processors, and mb is more expensive than smp_mb for UP machine, so replace it with smp_mb(). 2008-05-02hci_usb.h: fix hard-to-trigger racePavel Machek
If someone tries to _urb_unlink while _urb_queue_head is running, he'll see _urb->queue == NULL and fail to do any locking. Prevent that from happening by strategically placed barriers. 2008-04-20hci_usb: remove code obfuscationPavel Machek
_urb_free is an alias for kfree... making code longer & harder to read. Remove it. Signed-off-by: Pavel Machek <pavel@suse.cz> Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <akpm@linux-foundation.org> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2007-07-11[Bluetooth] Use hci_recv_fragment() within HCI USB driverMarcel Holtmann
This patch modifies the HCI USB driver to use the new helper function for reassembling HCI data packets and events. Signed-off-by: Marcel Holtmann <marcel@holtmann.org>
2006-07-04[Bluetooth] Correct SCO buffer size on requestMarcel Holtmann
This patch introduces a quirk that allows the drivers to tell the host to correct the SCO buffer size values. Signed-off-by: Olivier Galibert <galibert@pobox.com> Signed-off-by: Marcel Holtmann <marcel@holtmann.org>
2005-09-12[Bluetooth] Add ignore parameters to the HCI USB driverMarcel Holtmann
This patch adds the module parameters ignore_csr and ignore_sniffer to the HCI USB driver. This allows an easier use of CSR ROM chips that need an additional initialization routine and the Frontline sniffers. Signed-off-by: Marcel Holtmann <marcel@holtmann.org>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
